Darragh Nagle grew up in Los Alamos, New Mexico. He currently resides in Santa Fe. He attended college at the University of
New Mexico and Arizona State University, studying music composition.
Darragh Nagle started brewing mead in 1991. He worked for a year with the American Mead Association, promoting mead making,
publishing articles in the mead lover's digest, participating in promoting competitions of home brewers, and supplying honey
to home brewing stores.
In 1996 he won a third place ribbon in the Denver home brewer's shootout competition.
In 2006 he won two bronze medals in the New Mexico State Fair wine competition.
In 2005 he founded Falcon Meadery, owned and operated by Falcon Ventures Inc.
In 2007 Falcon Meadery varietals won three bronze medals and one silver medal in the New Mexico State Fair commercial
competition.
In 2008 Falcon Meadery won its first bronze medal in the International Mead Competition.

Stephen Guthrie, a well known Santa Fe musician, has been the Assistant Brewer at Falcon Meadery since 2005. He has represented
Falcon at New Mexico wine festivals, and was a judge at the 2007 International Mead Festival in Denver Colorado.
